Danielle Spangler

Bio

As a mother of three, Danielle understands the physical challenges women face during pregnancy, childbirth and recovery on both a personal and professional level. Danielle has been a fitness professional for over 20 years. This has fueled her passion for helping pregnant women and new mothers through this physical and emotional journey, thus giving her the expertise of pre and postnatal fitness specialist.

Danielle has a B.S in Kinesiology and received credits towards her Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in pre & postnatal fitness from the University of North Texas. In addition to her degree in movement, Danielle has had several different personal training certifications including Gray Institute Certified Applied Functional Science, National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), AFAA and Cooper Aerobics Institute of Dallas. After working as the pre and postnatal “master trainer” for the prestigious Sports Club/LA for five years, and giving birth to her first child, Danielle wrote the prenatal fitness continuing education course for the NASM. Danielle also wrote and consulted for publications such as FitPregnancy magazine.

Danielle created the Bionic Mommy program in 2015 after working in corporate fitness for many years and observing a lack of safe and effective exercise programming for the pre and postnatal population. Most recently Bionic Mommy has evolved into “Core Mom”, Corrective Obstetrical Related Exercises for purposes of creating a pre and postnatal small group-training program in a variety of fitness facilities. Under her Core Mom teacher training curriculum, Danielle’s goal is to train other qualified fitness professionals and group exercise instructors on teaching pre and postnatal small group exercise classes using her method.
