Shannon Vergun graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Oregon State University earning her B.A. in Broadcast Media Communication with an emphasis on producing and writing.
She has over 25 years of experience in all facets of production and media; from producing, writing and editing to developing strategic communications, promotions and branding. She has collaborated on projects as far east as Kazan, Russia, where she worked with a local crew documenting a cultural exchange during Glasnost; then went west to a Hawaiian canoe-turned-science-lab where she worked amongst traditional Polynesian voyagers for a presidential award-winning program that successfully graduated underrepresented students in STEM.
Shannon infuses every task with her exuberant personality, warm energy and laid-back style. She is as comfortable in front of the camera as she is directing others behind the lens.
She is a lifelong fitness enthusiast and has taught dance fitness and weight training for many years at home and abroad.
Helping others in their pursuit of optimum health has always been her passion. She is a licensed lifestyle coach for the CDCs National Diabetes Prevention Program and holds multiple group fitness certifications.
Shannon is a California native and currently resides in Los Angeles.
